Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They make it possible, for example, to remember choices you made or to understand how the website is used.
In this policy, “cookies” also covers similar technologies that store information in your browser, such as local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage).
This policy applies to the website dcindexar.pt, in its Portuguese and English versions.
2. Data controller and contacts
The controller of the data collected through cookies is Dolat Capital, Empresa de Investimento, S.A. (“DC”), owner of the DC Gestão Indexada brand, with registered office at Avenida Miguel Bombarda, n.º 42, 6.º D, 1050-166 Lisbon, Portugal, tax identification number 513852441, registered with the CMVM under number 368.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@dcindexar.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
3. Which cookies we use
We use four categories of cookies. Only the necessary ones are used without your permission; the other categories are only switched on if you accept them.
Necessary
Purpose: Make the website work: store your cookie choice, your Risk Profile Test progress and the DC Rewards invite code
Providers: DC
Needs permission: No
Statistics
Purpose: Measure the pages visited and how the website is used, including session recordings (clicks and scrolling) and heatmaps, without recording what you type in forms
Providers: Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), Microsoft (Clarity)
Needs permission: Yes
Marketing
Purpose: Record the pages you visit and which page or campaign the contact came from, so our team can better follow up your contact or proposal request
Providers: HubSpot
Needs permission: Yes
Advertising
Purpose: Measure the results of our campaigns and show you DC ads on other websites (remarketing), based on your visit
Providers: Google (Google Ads)
Needs permission: Yes
In Microsoft Clarity recordings, text typed into the website’s fields is always masked. Google Tag Manager passes the Google Analytics visitor identifier to Clarity, so we can relate the two tools.
With the Marketing category accepted, HubSpot links the requests you send through the website forms to the pages you visited before.
Advertising cookies are only used if you accept the Advertising category. Google Analytics is linked to Google Ads, which we use to measure, in aggregate, the results of our campaigns. We do not sell your data.
The website forms (Risk Profile Test, contact) work even if you reject all optional categories. The data you enter in those forms is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your consent and how to change your choice
On your first visit we show a notice where you can Accept all, Reject or Customise (choose category by category). Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Before you choose, we only use the necessary cookies.
- Your choice is kept for 6 months; after that we ask again.
- You can change your choice at any time under , in the footer of every page.
- If you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies of that category and stop using them from then on. Withdrawal does not affect what was done before on the basis of the consent given.
Statistics, marketing and advertising cookies are only used with your prior consent (Article 5(1) of Portuguese Law no. 41/2004, as amended by Law no. 46/2012, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Necessary cookies do not require consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request (Article 5(2) of the same law); the related processing is based on our legitimate interest in making the website work (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Google, Microsoft and HubSpot may process the data collected by these cookies outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. These companies participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. DC’s HubSpot account is hosted in the EU data centre.

7. How to manage cookies in your browser
Besides the website notice, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, some parts of the website may not work as expected (for example, we will ask for your choice on every visit).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add or remove a tool from the website. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. If a change affects the cookies we ask permission for, we will ask for your choice again.
